Where Do I Need a B-Line?

The B-Line Water Rescue Device can be thrown further and more accurately than a lifebuoy.

B-Line Water Rescue Devices are lightweight and reusable - if the first throw doesn't reach its target, the B-Line can be quickly pulled back in and thrown again.

Traditional lifebuoys are excellent long-term buoyancy aids in situations where they don't need to be thrown significant distances - piers, sea walls and docks being prime examples. B-Line is better suited than a Lifebuoy to sites where throwing distance is a factor, such as beaches and lakes. It's also ideal for ice rescue.

The compact nature of the B-Line Water Rescue Device makes it perfect for carrying in emergency service vehicles, too. Police forces around the UK have issued B-Lines as part of standard safety equipment packages.
