The Glasdon Group of Companies began in 1959 and we have been supplying shelters for more than 30 years. Our shelters are designed, manufactured and delivered by dedicated in-house teams with decades of experience.
Glasdon products are constantly evolving to meet our customers' needs thanks to our policy of ongoing product development. All products are designed and built to ISO 9001 QA standards and certified by structural stability and stress analysis as appropriate. We make it our top priority to only use materials in our products that offer the highest resistance to the effects of weather and vandalism.
Glasdon shelters are available in contemporary and traditional styles. Our contemporary designs will suit any modern architectural environment, while traditionally-styled shelters like the Heritage (link) will fit immediately into a more classically British street scene like they've been there for years - and our quality and corrosion resistance ensures they will be there for many more.
With more than fifty years' experience behind us, we understand the importance of customer service. Our internal and external sales teams provide prompt, courteous and efficient service - or so our clients tell us in regular customer satisfaction surveys. We can carry out a no-obligation site survey to help identify the right solution for your project. Our dedicated Technical Department will produce CAD drawings to help you visualise the product and are there every step of the way, from specification through to site installation.
We custom-build your shelter to your exact specifications. Shelters can be configured in a variety of layouts, colours and with a host of optional features.
When your delivery arrives (usually 4-6 weeks from the date you confirm your order), most shelters are delivered fully assembled on a Glasdon vehicle and offloaded by crane directly onto your location. You'll need to prepare a concrete foundation at the site and leave it to fully set before we bring your shelter.
If site access is a problem, or you choose to order multiple units for a roll-out programme, we can bring your shelters in a flat-pack kit form for self assembly. For some products, a standard range of shelter layouts is available on a faster delivery timetable (generally 3-4 weeks) for urgent projects.
